Cohen Veterinary Center

The Cohen Veterinary Center has been providing top quality care to Deltona and the surrounding communities since 1986. But theres more to delivering professional and competent veterinary services than technical know-how and experience. We also take care of you, the pet owner. We know how much your pet means to you because we have our own pets too. So we listen to you and your concerns for your pet so we can do our technical job better. We designed, built, and own our facility.

For you, our client, it provides a pleasant atmosphere. For us, it serves as an efficient and functional medical facility and kennel so we can do the best job possible for a reasonable price.

Keli Conaway

Veterinary Assistant
My name is Keli and I have been working at Cohen Veterinary Center for over 4 years. I have a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and am currently working towards a Master’s in Veterinary Forensic Science at the University of Florida. I hope to attend veterinary school in the future in order to pursue my dream career. I have had passion and love for animals since childhood. I absolutely love what I do and you will see me doing a little bit of everything around the clinic from reception to assisting in exam rooms and surgery. I love working hands on with all of our four legged patients and can’t wait to meet you and your wonderful pets. When I’m not working, I am home taking care of my own zoo of cats, dogs, and pigs or out in the woods enjoying nature with my husband!

Sam Cohen

Veterinary Assistant
My name is Sam Cohen and I’m a veterinary assistant at Cohen Veterinary Center. When I’m at the office I do whatever is needed. I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and they are rescues. My hobbies are mainly playing video games, but I do enjoy fishing occasionally.

Jaclyn Trinkl

Practice Manager
My name is Jaclyn Trinkl. I’ve been an essential part of Cohen Veterinary Center for the past 18 years. I started as a receptionist and worked my way through the clinic learning all the ins and outs. My primary responsibility is being the practice manager, but you can find me working in every area of the clinic-from the front desk to assisting Dr. Cohen in surgery. When I’m not at work I’m either petsitting, checking out new places to eat, traveling as much as I can, and most importantly taking care of my gang of special needs pets!

Shirley Clark

Client Care Specialist
My name is Shirley Clark. I have been brought up with animals and have a great appreciation of them. Presently I am finishing up my B.S. in Business, and I also have my own business as a licensed petsitter. Here at the clinic my main responsibility is as a receptionist. I enjoy meeting and helping our clients and their pets.

Steven Clark

Client Care Specialist
Hello, my name is Steven. I have a love for competitive gaming and a passion for animals. I have worked many different jobs, but anything with customer service is my favorite. I am currently in school to become a pediatric psychiatrist and an animal psychologist. Anything with the mind fascinates me.

Our Policies

Please take note of our office policies prior to your visit.

Leash Policy

For the safety of everyone, all dogs and cats are required to enter and exit the facility on-leash or in a pet carrier. Remember, your dog or cat may be friendly, but we may have other dogs and cats in the lobby that have not been assessed yet.

Cancellation Policy

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other patients, please be courteous and call our office promptly if you are unable to show up for an appointment. This time will be reallocated to another pet in need. If it is necessary to cancel a surgery or boarding appointment, we require that you call us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a $10 no-show fee. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will allow another patient access to timely veterinary care.
